Marvel: Ultimate Alliance

Let's go through his other Marvel connections.

He played the Winter Soldier in the Ultimate Alliance video game.

Nice.

And he played Iron Man in Ultimate Alliance 2.

He played Electro in the spectacular Spider-Man cartoon.

I thought you were going to say Electro, and I was like, wow, he's really

all

right so our next game a game that i'm actually super excited for way more excited okay so we're going to do blind ranking marvel video games it's out of five so one two three four five line rank first ultimate alliance two

two um i must say oh they had venom in that one

the goat

You have five places.

So number one.

Ultimate Alliance 2 is number one spot already.

Next.

And Raven became heavily involved with licensed properties.

Previously working on Marvel work X-Men, oh, on Marvel work X-Men Legend, X-Men Legends 2, Rise of Apocalypse, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and this game was created as a tie-in to X-Men Origins Wolverine.

The game's story is explicitly described as a combination or combining the film's Wolverine backstory with an original story created by Raven Software.

And the regeneration system, one of the game's signature features.

Yeah, and Raven eventually gets folded into the Call of Duty juggernaut, the Activision.

Because remember when Activision used to make good games? I was thinking about that.

I was like, I'm never going to get another Marvel Ultimate Alliance game.

Just never going to get one of these ever in my life, am I? Nope.

bad.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 does exist.

It's on the Switch.

Plays on Switch 2.

I think this stuff has got a great future.

But at the time, I remember a bunch of game projects just getting chopped left and right.

And the one I was most excited about came out and it was called Marvel Ultimate Alliance... 2015 or something.

It had a date on it at first, but it was a kind of a mass MMO style, but, but Diablo style top down game, not related to the series, but it was point and click PC free to play.

There are multiple different games.

I do not want to overshadow Wolverine's appearances in things like X-Men Legends and Ultimate Alliance and Web of Shadows because he has awesome, awesome appearances.

Midnight Sun, like all that stuff.

Oh, shit,

It was wish fulfillment.

And I think I want to segue to our fifth entry here.

And again, I don't mean to overshadow all these other Wolverine games, but he's on the cover of the last Ultimate Alliance game for Switch, its grand return.

He's in a ton of games.

Maybe,

you know, if you want to kind of like ultimate alliance where you have all these characters, you know, is one thing.

But, you know, a solo Iron Man game, they've never really pulled that off before.

and all the things you could do with iron man i mean we see like here's a lot of the missiles a lot of the blasts um a lot of him kind of doing the aerial combat there and looks like a lot

You know, I'll take that, because, like, I like Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man a lot, but

there

was a lot of video games, like, you know, say, like, Marvel vs. Capcom or, you know, Ultimate Alliance.

A lot of the game appearances of Iron Man, ever since the first movie, they've just gotten...
