Marvel Cosmic Invasion

I really need this.

So Logan, the final news story I wanna touch on this episode is, uh, Marvel Cosmic Invasion capitalizing on the hype surrounding the upcoming Avengers Doomsday.

They have a new DLC expansion called The Siege of Castle Doom.

The DLC is adding Sue Storm from Fantastic Four, as well as Doctor Doom as playable characters.

Sue Storm, AKA The Invisible Woman, can bend light and create force fields, while Doctor Doom has high-powered tech armor and magic skills at his disposal.

In addition, this DLC will add a new mode centered on Doctor Doom and his castle, but, uh, Tribute Games hasn't revealed anything about it just yet, aside from it is a new mode.

Uh, Logan, when I played Marvel Cosmic Invasion last year, I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I don't think it quite reached the heights of something like TMNT: Shredder's Revenge, which was a game that Tribute Games did a few years back.

But regardless of that, it is one of those games where I'm just extremely happy it exists because, you know, I'm a big Marvel fan.

We're ahe- we're ahead in that.

Anyways, moving on to Marvel Cosmic Invasion.

It's a beat 'em up game.

I think I'm, I've mentioned this game quite a bit of times, uh, before since it's been in a lot of, uh, a lot of presentations, and it probably will be in a lot of presentations, I'm, I'm pretty sure moving forward, at least for 2025.

Uh, Marvel Cosmic Invasion is pretty cool.

I like beat 'em ups.

I like, I like them a lot.

This is a game that's on my wish list.

Lanterns, now it's a big deal.

But I just found out Cosmic Invasion, The Siege of Castle Doom, November 10th.

Doctor Doom and Miss Invisible is going to be playable characters in the game.

I need to go buy it.

Speaking of a gajillion guys.

Speaking of gajillion guys, there's more guys in Marvel Cosmic Invasion.

Actually, there's one guy and one lady, because, uh, we actually I believe knew that Dr. Doom was gonna be in there.

But we've got Invisible Woman and Dr. Doom, uh, coming in the second DLC s- uh, pack for Marvel Cosmic Invasion, uh, that is also coming with I believe it's called, like, the, uh, D- Castle of Doom or something like that.

There's another, like, mode in this DLC.

Mm.

So, uh, but yeah.

That's, um, that's coming November 10th.

Yeah, yeah.

Mm-hmmI mean, look how well the Marvel collections are doing and those, you know, not just the collections, but even, uh, you know, Tokon's doing pretty good.

Um, that Marvel Cosmic Invasion s- side-scrolling beat 'em up did pretty well.

Yeah.

Like Marvel's doing a lot of great things on the games front that DC just isn't doing, and they continue to do that.

And now it runs the game, uh, intro cut scene and goes past the character's naming screen, showing parts of the interface and the items menu as shown in the video below post brutal, Sam, small progress, but impressive nonetheless.

So they've already gone in and they've gotten, it to work right so what are we talking six months i would say less if he's if he's if he's by himself by the end of the year i think we have it right which is i guess six months yeah i guess you're right about six months by the end of this year uh it says uh the emulator has also been working longer and yet it progress hasn't been as fast still working at the emulator continuing to reach the important milestone as shown by a few more videos The emulator now runs a 2D game, such as Marvel Cosmic Invasion, almost flawlessly.

And the most significant improvement, however, is the 3D games.

It can also run simple 3D games like Turok 2, Seeds of Evil.

Oh, yeah, Cosmic Invasion.

Cosmic Invasion came out earlier this year.

Uh, there was a new Scott Pilgrim game that came out ear- uh, I think, like, a month or so ago, if I recall.
