Martita Hunt

The film's plot centres around Marianne Danielle, played by Yvonne Monlaw, a young teacher travelling to a girls' school in Transylvania.

Her journey takes an unexpected turn when she encounters the enigmatic Baroness Meinster, played by Martita Hunt, and her son, Baron Meinster, played by David Peel, who is secretly a vampire.

The film opens with Marianne's arrival in a small Eastern European town, where she is left stranded by her stagecoach driver.

She finds refuge at the castle of the Baroness Meinster, only to discover that the Baroness's son is shackled in his room.
