Like, certainly when Truex retires, they just pop him in the car and move on.

And well, look where we're at now, right? Chase Briscoe kind of comes out of nowhere and takes that ride and surprises a lot of people and Nemechek is now sitting without a ride and yeah, so it changes quickly and a couple years ago, Justin Haley was the hottest.

So definitely the one time I really was like, yeah, big fan was when he played Windman.

Don't get me wrong, I like Hosovar, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to criticize him.

And it was kind of the same way with Truex.

I mean, God, I remember the 2020 Southern 500.

They've announced that Reagan Smith is going to run that truck at Bristol and Charlotte.

Reagan, a number of years ago, was running full-time in the Cup Series for Furniture Row Racing before Martin Truex Jr. took over the 78th.

Then most recently, we have seen Smith in the NASCAR Fox broadcaster booth.

As I've been saying this season, it's really great that Colleague is bringing back these legends and past drivers from the sport.

And so how good is it for him? Who's been trying? I mean, he's a New Hampshire guy.

And for him to get a good... finish when it seems like Buescher has been kind of the talk of the town in that bunch with Kozlowski a little bit who hasn't won, but Buescher's won more.

And the O'Reilly Series will not be on track again until Friday night, August 28th at Daytona for their series finale, or rather regular season finale.

Last four Cup races, the Gen 7 car area, at New Hampshire I was at the first one of those 2022 and Christopher Bell won Kyle Larson though has the most points boys in that in that short stretch of races there but he's not won in the Gen 7 car in New Hampshire Martin Truex Jr. despite missing a race second most shows how good he is there Christopher Bell third Chase Elliott Joey Logano Ryan Blaney Denny Hamblin William Byron Chase Briscoe and Tyler Reddick your top 10 and again in a small sample size and it's not all about points but again all these races had stage points in this era Last year's race won by Ryan Blaney in a big-time duel with Josh Berry, who's been on a bit of a heater lately for his standards.

And Joey Logano also dominated the first half of that race.

So anything could change.
