Martín Prado

J.T. Realmuto, who was one of the best catchers of his time at, at, uh, catching, obviously.

Martin Prado at third.

Adeiny Hechavarria at short.

I mean, this team was loaded.

I agree.

And I think, um, I've- I think probably week two into the Mauricio Dubón, um, era in Atlanta, uh, I compared him a lot to Martín Prado because that guy was the attitude, the way he plays the game, the play.

He probably gets in your face as a teammate.

I think that is what he does and like Ryan had said before, you AA better extend him for however long he wants to play this game in Atlanta because he is a dog.

As a teammate, he was the s- North Star of that clubhouse.

He was like Martín Prado before Martín Prado.

He was with the Hispanics.

He was with the Black players, the white players.

Joe Mack reminds me of JT, the way he kind of commands the game behind the plate.

Speedsters, Dee Gordon, a veteran guy like Martin Prado, a power hitter like Justin Boer.

I can go on and on and on.

A Danny Echevarria holding things down at shortstop.

I do think the...

I don't know what you're going to call this, right? The Martin Prado Memorial Utility Man Award.

And I say memorial.

Martin Prado has not passed away, to my knowledge.

But the Martin Prado Award goes to Mauricio Dubon.

He has played five different defensive positions for the Braves, plus he spent time at DH and he's pinch hit, right? He has 82 starts in left, 60 at shortstop, 16 in center, 7 at third base, 4 at second base.

The only thing he hasn't played, he hasn't played right because he has his better in right than left.
