Well, I was in Vegas to watch the Millennium show at the Sphere and I was like, oh my god, it's like some seats were getting sold for a couple thousand dollars and I was like, wow, that's very unthinkable in Singapore.

Well, the exception to that is like F1 period where like tables and tickets for like all the different DJ shows like Martin Garrix and all that goes up to like couple hundred dollars couple thousand dollars right and people just like happily drop money very happy for all F&B hotel friends that F1 season is like the annual like monsoon season for their piggy banks otherwise fairly desert-like Singapore for the F&B industry yeah i think your point about the competition with the real world and the competition against like inconvenience is an interesting one because it brings to mind a recent competition i had with my co-founder when we were like who are using all these like ai tools it's like yeah they like does a normal person really need like that many ai tools beyond like chat gpt and all that right because like Even like today with let's say your chat GPT, your cloud, you're already effectively increasing your productivity like two, three times because all the junk is just like automated away.

Emails, whatever, your PowerPoint decks, your Excel.

Do you need to go even more specialized and create like more specific like AI agents for your personal workflows? Probably not.

I think one additional aspect here to mention as well is that I think the benefit of AI outside of the professional setting is definitely that what we observe, it gets a lot more people around the planet in touch with interacting with music in a more creative way.

Something that being a little bit self-critical in the past always meant you had to learn complicated tools, you had to have a relatively expensive setup to just get into it nowadays you basically just can prompt your idea which might not be the most creative thing you've ever done but it might be the very first time you actually create a piece of music and that then and we can measure that that basically leads a lot of people to go further downstream and basically once they saw success here but they also see like there's only so much i can do here i can only interact with a generative platform so much They would go the next step and then download FL Studio, for example, and try to get into music making, generally speaking, which is, I think, generally a net benefit of generative AI that it just enables so many more people to think about their relationship to music as one they can participate in a creative way with.
