Now, it wasn't just candidates for office on the ballot yesterday.

In Marshfield, the town rejected a property tax override.

WBC's Jim McKay has more on what that means.

The town was seeking a final approval for a tax override vote that would add another $7 million into the coffers to help save several dozen jobs within Marshfield Public Schools and cover other costs.

It's an investment for my daughter because I want the best for her.

Jamie is the mother of a five-year-old in the Marshfield school system and was supportive of the

override but understands why some weren't.
