Marshall Warren

A win for Hamilton 5-2 on the road against the Belleville Senators, and a hat trick in this game for Mitchell Chaffee, who, uh, got the first goal in Hammers history and, of course, scored twice more in the third period.

For those of you keeping track, the first ever goal in Hamilton Hammers history, Chaffee from Liam Foudy and Marshall Warren.

That's a 5-2 win right there.

Uh, Aitchison, by the way, had his first career point in this game.

Pierre Engvall, two goals and a helper in those three games.

Two assists for Cole Eiserman.

Two helpers also for Marshall Warren.

We mentioned the one assist for Kashan Aitchison.

You've got George in the wings.

Marshall Warren – He came up last year, but it looks like he might have taken a step back so far.

At least that's the rumor has it.

What do you see with regard to the Islander defense, the holes, and the positives and the negatives?

Obviously, we saw what happened last year after that Romano injury.

Cycling through, we got Marshall Warren coming in, Travis Mitchell, Cole McWard.

Obviously, I think George had three or four games up.

Yeah,

They had Mayfield.

They had Aitchison trying to prove a point.

They had Marshall Warren.

You didn't really need a Logan Stanley.

And then, without being placed on waivers, the following players were assigned to Hamilton.

Alex Jeffries, Josh Kotai, Daniil Prokhorov, Marshall Warren, and Matthew Highmore.

So, those were the Saturday transactions.

Most of those guys played on Friday night, and then they were dispatched.

So Islanders transactions...

Alex Jeffries, Josh Kotai, Daniel Prokhorov, and Marshall Warren have all been assigned to Hamilton in the AHL.

None of those players are going on waivers.

They go directly there based on contracts, age, and how long they've been in the league.

If he can, I think right now he's close to being a fourth line player, but he can just develop that offense.

I think he's a really interesting prospect.

And then Marshall Warren did not have the best camp, but he's a guy that's shown in the past that he can come play a few games in the AHL.

So it's good to have a guy like that, that you can send up and down all season long if you need to be.

But it is important to see Varlamov go a full 60 minutes in the preseason in my opinion I want to see the power play continue to play well that was a big part of the win over the Rangers and it's vital for this team's success this season and then I want to see the kids against NHL level competition I want to see Eklund Aitchison, Iserman.

I want to see Marshall Warren get a shot on the ice as well in some of these games.

I want to see what these kids who are, excuse me, still on the roster can do just to, you know, give them a little bit of a taste.

And I do want to see in one game.

Daniil Prokhorov still with the big club.

And then you've got Kashawn Aitchison still among the defensemen, Matt Kessel among the defensemen, and Marshall Warren.

And Joshua Kotai, the goalie, he is still in Islanders camp again.

I do expect that those players will be sent probably to the AHL at some point in the near future.

He said Isaiah George will have to try and make the team.

Marshall Warren, K'Shawn Acheson has a chance at making the team.

So it really is feeling like DeBoer is going to have final say right now.

But if you look at the other side of things, the offensive side of things, he has talked praise on Eklund and Eiserman right now.

Uh, 'cause Isaiah George, I think, shows okay, but he's not very physical.

He can get pushed around a little.

Marshall Warren had a horrible third period in that game.

But it, it's really open, man.
