Marlon Anderson

Apparently, 20 years ago today, to this day, 20 years ago, the Dodgers hit four home runs in the bottom of the ninth to come from behind.

I believe it was Katie Drew, Jeff Kent, Marlon Anderson, and...

Russell Martin.

And Russell Martin.

So I had to be at my friend's house.

You know, we're talking about 2008. uh seven or eight 2006 20 years ago yeah 20 years ago 2006 so i was like yeah i was 15 years old um in my friend's house watching a dodger game and i remember uh clearly that moment where it was like i was about to leave we're down four we're down four in the bottom of the ninth what what what are we gonna do you know and we're talking about we're not talking about the dodges from this year but We're talking about the Dodgers in 2006 when they barely, they didn't even have a serious win since 1988 at that point.

So when you see J.D. Drew, Jeff Kinn, and Russell Marlin, and Marlon Anderson hit those four home runs in a row, not just in the ninth inning, but in a row, and two of them came against one of the greatest closers of all time in Trevor Hoffman.

Mm-hmm.
