I've never seen this movie.

It's kind of a really good young cast, actually.

I mean, in terms of movies, you know, kids' sports movies, this is up there for me.

He lives out behind the fence of Mr. Myrtle.

Over the years, many baseballs have gone over that fence, and the Beast claims each of them.

So instead of playing baseball on a hot day, they go swimming at the pool, and they end up getting kicked out because Squirts, who has a big-time crush on Wendy Peppercorn, played by Marlee Shelton, who's considerably older.

I mean, these kids are like, you know, they've got to be like 10 years old, maybe.

And so I just I said to you that the scene where.

um david and the the marley shelton character go to the lover's lane where everybody is like at first you know it's like lover's lane everybody just goes out there parks and sits in their cars and then after jennifer introduces sex to everybody you go back there same shot but now everybody's fucking in the cars is very funny but then the ultimate expression of lovers lane is when david and marley shelton's character get there and now it's all color they're the only two in black and white and everybody's like all the women are reading books to their boys and and the boys are just looking up at them like yeah and they're talking about it i'm like this is beautiful

It's really beautiful.

There's some of this stuff in this movie that's just gorgeous.
