Marlborough School

Can you talk a little bit about your education and music?

Well, I went to actually a place called Marlborough School when I grew up in Los Angeles, and it was an all-girls school, which I think was an interesting experience, because we had the opportunity to really stretch and expand and grow.

And some people might say it's artificial because it's not the real world, but there's a kind of a strength that I think that we were offered in terms of developing our intellect, um, and our confidence as young people.

Um, h- at Harvard I didn't study music even though I was doing music the entire time.
