Market Harborough

I've been involved in church planting twice.

I've Planted two churches, one in the centre of Birmingham, one here in Market Harbour.

And again, that just brings home they're very different contexts that need to be done in different ways.

And therefore, you have different expectations of how they will grow.

So a church in Birmingham grew very quickly with lots of students and young people.

Market Harbour is a very different context and has taken much longer to grow.

And there's not the scale of the number of people, so you can't expect it to be exactly the same.

I was reminded of that actually last couple of weeks.

This is episode 71.

It was filmed in the wonderful town of Market Harborough on Sunday the 9th of August about 12:00 PM.

This one is just me and Keisha again with standing cameraman Reid.

I remember seeing you do a leg just near Market Harborough on the last one.

How were they?

Yeah, they, they were incredible.

I just, I play...

Honestly, I played at Market Harborough when I was a pro, still a pro, because I was start- at the end of my career I was doing more squash coaching to fund what I was doing because I needed some money because English squash and blah, blah, blah, dropped me.

And I played, and I didn't think anything of it really.

At the time when I was fit and a bit younger, it wasn't fast enough for me.

So yes, it's early days.

So we have this competition running, don't we, Millie, where Revival Room have kindly agreed to award a prize at Christmastime to... for two people to go and have a distillery tour around the site near Market Harborough, where you will go and see how the rum is made, get to sample plenty of it, and come away with some if you wish.

So we decided that each week out of the three-word reviews from both Facebook and X, we would pick one winner.

And that's what we're calling our premium review, just like Revival Rum is a premium product.

I'm not sure.

I'm pretty sure it's Artingworth, which is just outside Market Harbour.

I go, oh, well, you know.

When I was having a quick pint with the Knights Templar the other day, I mean, I could see it.

world globally like in china and japan they had massive floods and things like this but maybe it will last for a year a year or two because maybe these trees will take more than one year to lose their anchorage so it's really just a question of how long it takes those trees to lose their anchorage but you know everywhere i look i see dead trees i was in stratford-upon-avon At the park there opposite the Royal Shakespeare Company Theatre, big specimen trees, dead.

I was at the park later in the day in Market Harbour and next to the cricket pitch, a lovely mature oak that's got railings around it, completely dead.

You know, they tried to save it.

But those sorts of ones, you know, the massive oaks in Shearwood Forest, I'm sure some more of them will have died this year, not just the main one, the Robin Hood oak.
