What a weekend it was for him, wasn't
1:42
it? It was huge.
1:43
And we'll cover the Brock-Matt Payne thing, but who stepped up was Will Brown, I think.
1:51
Leading into that weekend, the restrictor chat, the brand-new car – The unknown, because when you find things on a car, there's nothing better for a driver to go, see, see, I told you that's why I couldn't win a race or that's why I got passed.
2:07
But then the pressure is on because you're not getting better equipment, you're just getting equal equipment.
2:13
But when you go there, you've got to perform and it's all on that event because... you kind of got a point to prove and, um, you're trying to get credibility back at the team and all those things.
2:24
So he was under pressure.
5:21
Frosty, is it concerning for teams now that reliability is starting to creep in as a talking point getting to the Enduros?
2:14
Tell me about when you found out and
2:17
what sort of transpired.
2:19
I wouldn't say this is the best prep I've ever had, Rusty, for an event, but obviously Thomas went out, Randall, in qualifying and...
2:28
Often you think the adrenaline's going to get you through and whatnot, and he pulled up really sore, so then he got the call, but then I was still doing TV duties, so I was on the grid with Super 2 and then got the call.
2:41
So it was at 1 o'clock or something like that I got the approval, and we drove out of pit lane at 2 o'clock, so hence not getting to do a seat pour and all that sort of stuff to be comfy.
2:50
But anyway, I tried to survive, but I've never been more uncomfortable in a race car, but...
2:57
It was a lot of fun.
3:50
of them and the sudden nature of doing all that? I know you're kind of prepping for the Enduros anyway, but was it taxing? What was it like?
