Realistically, what kind of timescale do you think that there could be intervention by government authorities to bring the shutter down and to A, protect people against any potential risk that these imports might pose and B, level the playing field from a production point of view so eggs sold in this market are produced to a standard that is legal in this market?
M

So when the scientific methodology of whole genome sequencing came into being, so that is widely used by public health authorities and in particular in our country leads in many respects there.
M
12:49Mark WilliamsGUEST
And I think as some of the reports from UKHSA will indicate, the fact that we use whole genome sequencing probably more than some other countries It looks like we're picking up more cases.
M
13:06Mark WilliamsGUEST
I think for those who perhaps don't know what whole genome sequencing is, and I'm not a scientist or a vet, but effectively it means that if I had a farm and I was producing eggs, then I will be doing my regular sequencing.
6 MINS LATER

Tom WoolmanHOST
Now, I think we know that realistically... international trade is a fact of life isn't it and it's important as well that we have outlets for our eggs and there is some product which can move what more can be done at the border and what are you asking government to do to tighten the controls over imported eggs that are coming into the country

This is the last, the home stretch for him because this coming June, I think you, Peter tied with you, isn't it? Uh, he's going to be ordained into diaconate, uh, which is the first stage, if you like, in, um, the priesthood.
M
0:16Mark WilliamsGUEST
Diaconate first, sorry, then the priesthood, and then, uh, when he's done his curacy, they're gonna let him loose on the, the good folk of St. David's, which is, which is a good thing.

Again, when you say, [laughs] it's pretty incredible to be where OU gymnastics is, and I know you wanna win a championship every single year, but still to be in that position, Coach, when was a moment where you're like, "This team's got a chance to be special"?

Mark WilliamsGUEST
No, I think that they've been open to having a championship wherever the highest bid is and where they feel like they can get a good crowd.

Mark WilliamsGUEST
uh... back in the old days when you know i was still doing gymnastics the nebraska hosted a couple years in a row and there was talk about just making that the permanent site but you know nebraska's was on a winning streak in one five championships in a row and people were like now we don't keep having them win you know so we started moving it around uh...

Mark WilliamsGUEST
Well, we get to pick the event we start on, uh, which is kind of a big thing.

Mark WilliamsGUEST
You know, it allows us to practice what we want to be on, you know, the first event, which sometimes you have some nerves.

Mark WilliamsGUEST
So we plan on starting on vault, a pretty easy way to start where you, you know, just run down the runway and you have one skill in the air and land.

Mark WilliamsGUEST
Too often you're at a hotel and then you're at the field or at the competition gym and and then competing and then turning around early the next day.

Mark WilliamsGUEST
So we got to go out Friday, and we got in early enough that we could go down to downtown San Francisco and kind of spend a couple hours just out.

We're still hanging on to the number one ranking, so we should be able to select our start event for the conference meet, which is a little bit of an advantage.

Mark WilliamsGUEST
It gives us time to practice that rotation and feel good about how we start the meet and where we finish and all that.

Mark WilliamsGUEST
Yeah, I mean, it's – the Winter Cup is one of those events you have to individually qualify for.

Mark WilliamsGUEST
And, you know, that kind of makes a little bit of a split in what the training plan is for everybody.

Mark WilliamsGUEST
But, you know, having this weekend where we kind of get a little bit of rest, last away meet, last duel for the season, then we have another week off before the conference meet.

Mark WilliamsGUEST
And up to this point in the field house, We hadn't had anybody stick a landing at the end of their routine, so that set us on a great path.

Mark WilliamsGUEST
The rest of the night, we ended up sticking 13 landings, which was double what we had for our last best performance, and that's a lot of points because every stuck landing is a plus one instead of a minus one, and so you're gaining two-tenths per routine, so that was a big boost, and And the guys were great.

Mark WilliamsGUEST
You know, we finished the same way we started on high bar, four stuck landings there, put up the highest score in the country by quite a bit, and it was a fun night.

Mark, I'm curious, just from your lineup and the way you feel about it, and I know injuries factor in and can happen at any moment, but do you feel like you're pretty set – in your rotations? Is there a few areas, you know, that I don't know how, if there's constant competition or what that looks like for you, but do you feel pretty set with the lineup right now, or is there potential for shifting or change still?

Mark WilliamsGUEST
Yeah, I think we're going to still see a lot of change in here in the last four or five weeks because, you know, honestly, we have a 12-man team that goes out, but we'd be better off competing 15 and because we've got certain guys that are just stronger on rings that don't have the strength to do floor or vault, some guys that are doing pommel horse that don't do some of the other events.

Mark WilliamsGUEST
So we run through four guys on horse and four guys on rings, and that only leaves four more guys that we can put in the lineup to fit the rest of the six events.
