And then we had the folks who are against it.

It's Mayor Gina Ortiz-Jones and council members Marina Alderete-Gavito, Mark White.

Misty Spears wasn't there, but if we look at her kind of vote history, she'd be against it.

So we've seen kind of this – the split was interesting because it just reflected the kind of same split in the budget vote where you had wealthy north side districts saying no and these poor east, west, and south side districts saying yes.

Mayor Gina Ortiz-Jones joined three council members in opposing the increase.

Councilman Mark White criticized the decision, saying the city was making housing more expensive while failing to sufficiently rein in spending.

The budget also includes nearly $90 million in spending cuts as the city confronts a projected two-year general fund deficit of $158 million.

GB News can now reveal that the migrants travelling in the mega-dinghy that was steaming its way over to British shores this afternoon have now arrived in Dover.

We can also reveal the total number of migrants on that very mega-dinghy is just over 80.
