I'm delighted that Chris Sidwells is with us today.

Just before we speak, Mark, how often do you get on your bike? I know you're a fantastic wicketkeeper late into your 50s, but are you still cycling about the place?

I've done Lanza to John O'Groats and I did London to Paris as well.

And when I did London to Paris, I was with some serious cyclists.

A mother is completely in tune with what goes around the edge of professional sport and professional cycling and the worries about that.

Like, it was a safe thing to do.

If you were to have a go at, I don't know, Gabby Logan or Mark Chapman or, you know, um, Mark Pougatch, you're not sure, "Are people gonna like that or not?" If you have a go at Jake Humphrey as a football presenter, you know people will laugh at it and find it funny.

So therefore, it's the safe thing for a journalist to do, and I think that's why I got so much of it.

I used to love fielding, and I remember looking at all these sort of old bods, and I'd think, "Oh, look at him.
