You hear a lot of chatter going on here, a lot of singing, but that noise is the Kentucky basketball coach, Mark Pope, being starinated by nothing like basketball season, but this is football season right now.

Well, we've certainly seen it all today, talking to Coach and the AD, and it just seems like you and Mark Pope, that was so much fun.

Tell us about the vibe from young people your age about

this Kentucky football program.

What are you thinking? What is your perception of this basketball team? Did you see Jeff Goodman's? I was getting ready to bring that up.

So they brought up on field of 68 their grades yesterday of how Mark Pope did on the offseason.

Jeff Goodman gave him a C plus.

And what's the other guy's name? Gave him a B minus.

But my argument is, I'm not saying the team is a C+.

I'm saying the offseason was a C+.

I like Mark Pope.

I think he can figure this out.

right.

Mark Pope, 54.

Award for the world's biggest goober in college basketball and apparently freaks out high school kids when they're on college visits.

I mean players, too.

So when he went to Kentucky, it still doesn't feel like the right fit.

He's a tough watch on the sideline.

What surprised me about Kentucky was that we knew they gave 22 million to Mark Pope or whatever his name is, the basketball coach.

I almost said Mark Fox.

That is a deep cut.
