Well, uh, AO, at, at, each round that we got, we passed and got through was always a bit of a surprise to me, Jonathan.

Um, as wild cards, we were the last wild card pairing out of the seven to receive a wild card, so each round we progressed, I was like, "Wow, we're still going, we're still going." Um, but by the semifinal stage, I was like, "Geez, we're one match away from [laughs] from the final." Um, so that was definitely a realization.

Uh, that, that, uh, that match became very important for me.

Um, and then, yeah, once we were in the final, I was like, "Sheesh, I'm gonna have to turn off my phone," because my phone was pinging like crazy after our semifinal victory.

Um, luckily I had a day off to kind of just, uh, the next day, just to kind of just really gather my thoughts and prepare best I could mentally as well for the match.

Um, which actually helped me with my, uh, my preparation for the Wimbledon final, I feel.
