Mark Pender

One of the young lions pawing for a place in the city's jazz pantheon was an up-and-coming musician named Steve Harvey.

David Bassey and Mark Pender are jazz musicians.

Steve Harvey was, when I met him, he was all caught up in the sound of Kansas City and able to get up in the morning and play music until you fall out late at night, get up the next morning, play more music, and it's just music, music, music, music.
