Mark Newbold

This is the way.

Here are your hosts, Mark Newbold and Mark Mocaster.

I know these people.

They are brutal.

Welcome to a joint episode of the Rule the Galaxy podcast.

We are joining, you know, we usually do across the space whale pond about once a month with Mark Newbold and Mark Mulcaster.

Today, it's kind of almost an official FanthaTracks, MakingTracks merger with Rule the Galaxy.

So we're really excited because we have Natalie Mark as one of our special guests, but Dr. Chris Kim Shaw, who is an author and who's written some recent Star Wars books and the one we're going to talk about most recently.

This is the way.

Here are your hosts, Mark Newbold and Mark Mocarsky.

Call Waze.

I know these people.

Don't get technical with me.

[ship flying] Here are your hosts, Paul Naylor [drum beat] and [drum beat] Mark Newbold.

[upbeat music]

You're listening to Start Your Engines.

I'm your co-host Mark Newbold, and joining me today is a man who knows exactly where his S-foils are.

It's Paul Naylor.

Paul, how you doing, man?

This is the way.

Here are your hosts, Mark Newbold and Mark Mocarsky.

Kong Wizi.

I know these people.

You're listening to Making Tracks.

This is episode 267.

I'm Mark Newbold, and joining me today is my co-host, who for reasons unknown, I shall today call Snips.

Hello, Mark.

So we're already on our way to 800 with you leading the way.

But, hey, you had Steve Glosson, Scott Riefen, Mark Newbold, T-Bob, which I don't know if you know him or not.

I don't know

him.

And trust me, you don't want to see me in a Princess Leia costume.

That is definitely something we are not doing, and it's definitely not going to happen next year at Celebration.

It is so wild to think that Warwick and I, well, Mark Newbold, myself, and Warwick are all about the same age.

I always have a picture in my head that he's this young kid who was in Return of the Jedi, right? And now I'm going, holy cow, he's mid-50s just like me.

I will.

I wonder if Mark Newbold's watched it.

Let's find...

Well, we're

and then um another character uh i think balan skull but i don't know but we're trying to figure out who that the sun is i believe who's the dark side but abeloth was from books and all this everything and and they're saying that padme natalie portman might play both characters so if you can get natalie portman back involved with star wars especially hayden christensen ewan mcgregor's there I think that'd be fantastic.

I had an interview recently with Mark Newbold, who runs FanthaTracks in London, which is another podcast.

And he was like, go all in.

He said, do a whole season or do a movie with Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Natalie Portman, and do like a retro flashback to the Clone Wars and to the prequels.
