And that was a big selling point of connected communities because connected communities was designed to go up these corridors, Hamilton Avenue and Redding Road, for example, based on the fact that we're going to have bus rapid transit projects.

But what our mayor didn't tell us is that the bus rapid transit projects that are on the books, they come from the same pot of money that a streetcar would come from.

Not only that, but they haven't been funded yet.

They're on the list to be funded.

I understand that former Governor Kasich must have pulled some funding out of it.

But that was funded at the 30% level.

And here, the mayor, who's going to have these bus rapid transit projects funded by the Trump administration for 70% to 80% and $250 million, and he's got to take a cheap shot at the current administration.

So it was kind of fun to point that out in my op-ed, and who knows whether or not the Enquirer will publish it.
