And it's teams, so it's nations competing, Canada, Poland and Australia, right?

Mate, it is like the Gold Coast.

We always like to do something a little bit different.

So it's a bit of an international theme.

We have international fireworks companies come over representing their countries.

So you'll see different displays, different musical themes that go with it.

So he did both parts.

Was it Leslie Howard? Whoever it was, Peter was eventually cut out of the movie.

Because he would do the other twin, and then they'd switch parts and do the other twin, and cut Peter out.

And I said, that must have been frustrating.

He said, it was the perfect school.

He expressed his disappointment that it didn't get a second season.

And he read the script, and I think it sort of scared him a bit.

The material itself is extreme.

It's, uh, ultra violent, uh, harrowing, grim material, which sort of was out of my comfort zone.

But I've realized over the years, sometimes it's good to be pushed out of your comfort zone.

It could have happened yesterday.

It's difficult to place it in time.

It's sort of futuristic retro, which is divorced from our immediate world, but not hard to imagine.

Very dystopian and, and frightening, you know, that there could be a future where something like that would even be possible.

Nobody had ever done that before.

Probably wasn't their place, your drama teacher's gonna give you a, life advice.

But he knew how much I wanted it, and it really made an impression on me to the point where when, when Hanna-Barbera wanted Scooby-Doo to m- meet Mark Hamill, uh, they set it in Japan, and I had a meeting with the writers where I gave them all this information.

They said, "Well, we won't...

And that saved my life, because, I mean, uh, you had to take eight and a half units.

The, the, the consequences were so high, either college or the jungles of Vietnam.

So I was well motivated and, but I just can't believe my luck.

For instance, when I graduated from Japan, I, I wanted to go to New York.

I said, "I'll be a cab driver or a waiter," and auditioned for plays and so forth, but my brother was getting married.

Yeah.

It's just ridiculous.

You gotta get your degree so, you know, you could be a teacher, you know, you could teach drama.

Uh, no, I wasn't encouraged at all until my senior year in high school.

My father got transferred to Japan.

I went to Yokohama High School, and the drama teacher recognized my passion, because I had for the first time gone to Broadway and seen several Broadway shows.

I tagged along with my father on a business trip.

And even though, you know, it's Frank Oz, great puppet master, like was that difficult? Was it difficult to like stay in the moment when you're expressing yourself to Yoda, who is not a real person, of course?

It could tell you, for example, you're more likely to be drafted by a major league sports team th- than make a real living as a dancer.
