So, Mark, why don't you tell my audience... you know, how you got started, what your background is, because I know you spent a lot of time over at the agency and just talk about, you know, what you can, obviously, about like what that journey was, because that's not like a normal path to take for someone, right, to go into an intelligence agency and like be successful at it like you were and be as instrumental in a harsh environment as you were, you know? What was that like?

Sure.

Well, I mean, you know, we always say that we're ordinary people, you know, basically put in extraordinary situations.

At 10:43, the prison physician pronounced Hines dead.

The physician was not visible, so we don't know if it was the same one, Mark Fowler, from the failed Carothers execution.

Hines' attorneys tried to get a court order to identify the doctor, but their motion was denied.

Hines' lawyer, Catherine Dix, released a statement following the execution.
