How will Prime Minister Netanyahu respond to Washington's diplomatic endgame? I mean, I was reading Israeli press in the last three, four days, and it doesn't look good.

Uh, it's clear that, uh, Netanyahu is not happy with the memorandum of understanding and even less happy with the, uh, prospect for a final, uh, nuclear deal with Iran that, uh, is even, uh, more lenient toward Iran than was President, uh, Obama's Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action in 2015.

So Netanyahu opposes both of those.

He may think he has the ability to, uh, torpedo both of those.

Um, first of all, the memorandum of understanding has, as its first point, um, main- uh, the, um, uh, the sovereignty of, uh, of Lebanon and says that, um, the, uh, there will be a sustained ceasefire there.

Well, Netanyahu can decide that there won't be a, a ceasefire and that the sovereignty of Lebanon will continue to be violated.

Did the White House sign this deal, uh, from a position of strength or because it concluded that military pressure alone would not achieve its objectives?
