Mark A. Altman

No farther.

Hey, this is Mark A. Altman.

And this is Darren Dockterman.

And this is Ashley Miller.

Well, we'll be back next week with an all-new episode of Inglourious Treksports.

So a big thanks to Max.

And on behalf of Ashley Edward Miller, Darren Dockerman, myself, Mark A. Altman, keep on trekking ingloriously, of course.

And, Darren, take us out.

I guess I just have that kind of face.

Hey, this is Mark A. Altman.

And this is Darren Dockerman.

And this is Ashley Miller.

Stay tuned.

And we're back.

We're back with the Trek Spirits, Darren Dockerman, Ashley Miller, Mark A. Altman.

And this is a very sad day for us.

I feel

like I'm hoping like somebody like Mark Altman or Larry Nemechuk, like one of those guys really digs in with them to get the full, to get the full story.

Yeah.

Yeah, no, and those guys are both really good guys, really know their track, have both been reporting on it for decades and decades and been on sets and done all those things.

Yeah, through the Nacelle Company.

We're lucky because right now we have a whole bunch of interesting people who want to talk about Trek, who have companies or resources and are doing very interesting things.

So Mark Altman's documentary, I just saw this last week.

The Center Seat is out, which everybody can see, which is Brian Vogt-Boyce and the Nacelle Company.

They spend so much more time thinking about the Star Trek universe than the writers of modern Star Trek.

It's so frustrating having been a fan of, Mark Altman used to make fun of me because I was reading Star Trek novels.

I'm like, the best Star Trek novels are written by people that understand the Star Trek universe way better than people are making televised or motion picture Star Trek.

The Reeve Stevens.

And then I went on and, and became a Star Trek consultant in the mid-'90s for Viacom and Paramount.

And then I made Free Enterprise with Mark Altman, whose, whose own Star Trek documentary is in theaters now.

And-

Yeah

Hands off to secure.

[Star Trek theme] [gunshots] [Star Trek theme] Hey, this is Mark A. Altman.

This is Daren Dochterman.

And this is Ashley Millner.

[laughs]

[laughs]

And, uh, last but not least, I'm Mark A. Altman.

I am also one of the Trexperts.

And then there's a bunch of other stuff.

So yeah, Thurs- the Thursday night of Comic-Con is when Brian and I are going to see the 60-Year Mission documentary, Mark Altman's documentary-

Yep

... which comes out in theaters on Friday.

He said for free.

That's nice.

Um, and Mark Altman is gonna have a booth where he's gonna have...

He has the, some of those actors rotating in and out, coming by, like Nana and Denise Crosby and Brent Spiner and Robert Picardo, and then they're doing a panel for their documentary on Sunday morning.
