And I, and they were like, "Nah.

No, it's you.

It's you.

It's definitely you." I was like, "God, that's, that's a bit of harsh reality for me there." So as time went on, I was, uh, I used to see this guy called Eddie Reid running around the camp and, um, he was a, uh, an army commando and my cousin was a marine commando.

And, um- I was like, "I want that green beret." Um, so I set a goal then to, uh, go on the commando course and pass it and become part of 29 Commando Regiment Royal Artillery.

Um, by the end of the year, in Junior Leaders Regiment, uh, I was, like, the fastest in the troop- Mm-hmm ... 'cause I just went out and trained when the others didn't.
