Maritime Museum of San Diego

So we've Been able to investigate a lot of the iconic historical locations in San Diego.

My gosh, many in Old Town, Maritime Museum of San Diego, vessels such as the Berkeley and Star of India, Berkeley Ferry Boat and Star of India, which I'll get to in a little bit.

Rancho Buena Vista, Adobe, places in Julian, pretty much all over the county.

So we're now coming back out to San Diego, California.

And we're visiting the Maritime Museum of San Diego, which, like I said before, has many vessels there, two of which are the Berkeley Ferry Boat and the Star of India.

We're here at Spanish Landing on the shore of San Diego Bay, where the Maritime Museum of San Diego is building a reconstruction of the Rio de San Salvador.

One of the purposes in the construction of this vessel was to help historians on the East Coast recognized that there was in fact history west of the Allegheny.
