Marionette Apprentice

But again, it's an active piece that rewards you for doing something that you already wanna do, which is make your land drops.

And sometimes you can staple that onto something like Marionette Apprentice or Orcish Bowmaster to basically make your board proliferate itself into a very large and insurmountable board state.

Mm-hmm.

The nice thing about stuff like Marionette Apprentice and, and Sephiroth is once they're in play, you become a lot more board wipe proof than, um, like something like Heroic Intervention might make you, for instance.

Uh, because- There aren't really any board wipes that are played in cEDH that exile everything, but there are that there are plenty that get around indestructible or hexproof.

Mm-hmm.

But if your board is huge, and, and in the case that it dies, one of your opponents also dies, it behooves all three of your opponents to not put the table in that position.

And so I actually have found that Marionette Apprentice is the best board wipe protection [laughs]

That's Sephiroth Fabled Soldier.

Another cut effect we have is Marionette Apprentice.

One and a black for a 1-2 Artificer.

It has Fabricate.

Tokens do go to the graveyard.

Then they disappear.

So Marionette Apprentice is a synergy piece with the blood tokens in this deck.

So it's looking for creatures or artifacts you control to die and your opponents will lose life.
