Yeah, I-5 northbound now, a crash a little bit to the south of Woodburn in the Jervis area.

We understand that at least two lanes are blocked, only one lane getting through.

So, again, we're backed up pretty solid all the way back towards Salem, not quite that far back into the Brooks area.

Again, on I-5 northbound, trying to make your way up through Marion County this afternoon, a big delay there.

Farther up the line, there's delays out of the curves across the Markham, although that's not surprising.

Again, in 1838, the Presbyterian missionaries were reinforced, so that prior to the arrival of a Catholic missionary in Oregon, the sects were represented by 29 regular preachers, besides a numerous retinue of agents, colporteurs, and other members, male and female.

These forces were pretty well scattered over the country, the Methodists having establishments south of the French Prairie in Marion County, and also at the Dalles in Wasco County.

The Presbyterians were located at Wailatpu on the Walla Walla River, among a portion of the Cayuse Indians, and also at Lapwai on the Clearwater.

Besides these, Mr. Beaver represented the Anglican Church at Vancouver as chaplain of the Hudson Bay Company, so that the missionary field was well occupied prior to the advent of a Catholic priest.

Judge Alexander set a hearing date of November 20th for more arguments in the case.

Meanwhile, a man arrested by ICE at the Marion County Courthouse earlier this year is now being sentenced to a one-year and one-day federal prison sentence.

50-year-old Javier Osorio Alamira was taken into custody most recently in April.

A Marion County judge gave him his sentence today.

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Oregon reports Osorio Alamira is an undocumented immigrant who has made his way into the U.S. illegally three times and has pleaded guilty to violent crimes, including those of a sexual nature with a child.

A man is in custody today, too, after police say he poured gasoline around a Vancouver gas station and then set his own car and himself on fire.

Of course, getting to Vancouver is slow, too.

I-5 north from just north of the Fremont Bridge up to the Interstate.

So, it's about halfway in between Newburgh and St. Paul.

We understand that lanes are blocked both directions on Highway 219 down in Marion County.

Watch out for that.

Yeah, Brett, there's a crash on Highway 219 about halfway in between Newburgh and St. Paul near Champooey Road northeast.

It is blocking one lane each direction, so we're seeing a backup, particularly headed south out of Newburgh this afternoon down in Marion County.

High-five northbound or southbound, rather, as you leave downtown.

They are also very sensitive to cold, so about the only place they grow well is the Willamette Valley.

Most Marion berries are still grown right in Marion County, the county they were tested in and named after.
