Mario Golf

You're playing tennis.

In Mario Golf, you're playing golf.

You swing it a certain way, and it's a way that you've already swung something.

I've swung a ping pong thing or a tennis racket before.

yeah but I've been having a lot of fun with it and it's like at its surface level

it's based off of my love for Mario Golf or like Hot Shots Golf like that idea so even if you're not a disc golfer like that's a lot of love for those games so you'll catch some of that flavor but then I was sprinkled in like a whole bunch of different things and if you if you care to poke around and check it out I think you'll see a bunch of that stuff but like for instance like all the characters have backstories that you can unlock they have little quips that they say to each other as you play I've you know put together a multiplayer, so you can send each other a code to set up.

Yeah, so it's gotten pretty

cool.

sure.

And that is one thing, you know, like it had some elements, my original like prompts and stuff, but it's like, it's, you know, I just kept pushing it and trying to take a different directions and, and adding some of that.

So, cause my, my vision overall was like, I wanted to land something that was approachable, like had same elements, but was approachable like Mario golf or hot shots golf.

Uh, but also that if like, uh, you know, the disc golf stick has got a hold of it, they would, they would be like, wow, this is like, It's some real disc golf right here.

Boy, yeah.

And a bit of Mario Golf.

Oh, Mario Golf.

Which is my go-to.

I'm just sat there and I need a quick 15 minutes.

A bit of Mario Golf.

Brilliant fun.

Otherwise, the only other thing was Counter-Strike, which me and you played because we built our own private server, which we will invite people to come and play with us.

I know.

Um, would you feel better about Mario Tennis or Mario Golf?

I would.

Uh, I think those are better games.

But I don't think it's that great.

Uh, but th- there's, there is an argument to be made there.

I, I think that, that Mario Tennis, Mario Golf were both, like, for their time, were pretty good games.

Um-

Well, not unfortunately.

I have two, um, I have Mario Tennis and Mario Golf.

Mario Golf, sure, but Mario Tennis is fire.

[sighs]

Love that game.

[laughs]

[laughs]

Uh, Mario Golf and Mario Tennis, I got each of those for 8.97-
