Marian Harkin

Straight away, people are sending texts in relation about the triple lock.

Can you ask the local TDs, Marion Harkin, Eamon Scanlon, Frank Feehan, why they all turned their backs on the people's wishes and voted for the removal of the triple lock? Or are they just thinking of their pensions and knowing that they will be too old for the next election? I don't know about that.

Bring that up now.

Well, we have had a number of listeners get on to us last week for not discussing the triple lock issue after that Dáil vote.

Thank you very much.

Junior Minister Marian Harkin is on line too.

You were listening to that debate and what Nessa Cosgrove has to say.

How do you respond to it, Minister?

Right.

Let's say good morning first to, uh, Minister Marian Harkin, Minister of State at the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation, and Science.

Good morning to you, Minister.

Good morning.

But we, we have responsibility to do that, and I would agree with that, Greg, yes.

Yeah, okay.

That's the voice there of Minister Marian Harkin.

We also have Richard Logue and Michael Margey as guests.

But we serio- sincerely hope it won't come to that.

Well, with us now is, uh, Junior Minister Marian Harkin.

You're very welcome, Minister, and thanks for taking our call, uh, this morning.

You're welcome.
