I gotta say, I'm super excited about what's going on with Falsettos and that reunion concert.

in their new production of My Fair Lady, so the revival directed by Maria Friedman.

She's busy woman, isn't she?

She is, isn't she?

It was done to critical acclaim on Broadway with Victoria Clark playing Kimberly.

It is now having its London debut with Maria Friedman playing Kimberly Lovacco.

This production is directed by Michael Longhurst.

He did the next normal in London that there's the pro shot of that we all love.

He also did the Carolina change that came to New York that I personally quite hated.

And so I wasn't quite sure which Michael Longhurst was coming to the table.

But I was interested in seeing Maria Friedman on stage, and I was interested in seeing how the Brits did Kimberly Akimbo.

I looked up to a lot because she was very she was playing all the principal parts.

Maria Friedman was playing all the principal parts when I was in drama school.

And so they were like heavily featured in musical theatre.

So, yeah, I would say those two.

and you learn for goodness sake i mean hannah was in that show on crutches not actually like physically she not hurt herself but as the witch she had these crutches that she would use and she was in so much i remember being so much pain using these crutches and it really did her back in did she miss a show no did she you know ever complain beyond just getting physio appointments no and And so you start to see how much it takes out of people and how much, how hard they work.

And you take that on yourself.

So yeah, I would say those two or three were definitely, yeah, Maria Friedman was a huge, I remember talking to Maria first day, just going, this is so weird because we'd never worked together.

And yet I feel like I know you because I have studied you and known you since I was at first drama school when you were doing

I used to go, Mr. Burry, line four.

And they'd be like, oh my God, Marisha, shut up.

Anyway, one day there was a Marmite advert and one of the backing singers didn't turn up for the recording session.

And the engineer said, Maria, you're always singing.

I mean, look what happened to Merrilee.

In the right hand, maybe Maria Friedman is the goddess who needs to sprinkle her fairy dust on it.

I think that I don't love the roadshow concept.

I feel like the vaudeville concept is more enjoyable.
