It does absolutely nothing to protect your equity once the trade is live.

The one sort of standout fact from 1929 that stands out in my mind is the introduction of margin.

I've talked about margin before.

Margin is basically borrowing money to buy stocks.

It seems that 1929 was the first year that the plebs, the commoner, was allowed to use borrowed money to buy stocks.

And in the, keep in mind, like back in 1929, like Chase Manhattan, JP Morgan was one of the biggest banks.

Mr.

Margin called them up.

They had to cover.

That buying added to the increase that was already set in motion by some of those government announcements.

You will stop living paycheck to paycheck and make more money when you have margin.

Yes.

Margin is your number one wealth building tool.

Margin is your number one tool of getting out of paycheck to paycheck.

If your income is up here, your expenses need to be down here.

In between, that's your margin, and that's what you play with to pay off your consumer debt.
