I, I think it's really, really difficult for firms though, and it, it's, it, it's extremely tedious that we're still having these conversations because it, it's interesting that we- we're talking about 2015 and what you wrote back then because in 2015, The Lawyer also published a really extensive diversity report as part of our UK 200.

And in that, I remem- uh, I've, I've just looked it up and I remember writing it at the time.

We, we'd had at least 10 years at that point of all manner of diversity initiatives right across the profession.

It was a, it was a really kind of im- important issue at that point.

There'd been all kinds of networks, there'd been women's groups, there'd been targets, there'd been quotas, there'd been all sorts, and it had made absolutely no difference whatsoever.

So it-- I think it's really difficult for firms.
