Margaret Simons

I've spoken to a lot of journalists and photographers who have been through it and it is the ultimate baptism of fire.

And I remember, I can't remember who wrote it, it might have been Margaret Simons that talked about, she interviewed someone and said, if you're at news, they're going to stab you in the front rather than the back.

And there's a part of me that really likes that.

And Peter, I too love the tabloid sensibility and we often would laugh at the odds just because of the way that it was so verbose and they would say in 30 paragraphs what could be said in five at the telly.

And so to go to Anne's example, One of the things we found, I mean, clearly with you, they got you in the sense that you're doing something that makes you look like a bad person and you don't see yourself as a bad person.

A few people in that we interviewed, Margaret Simons for one, they got her on her journalism.

Not fairly, not accurately, but they were suggesting that her journalism was unethical.

And to her, that was what cut her to the quick, the notion that she was an unethical journalist, because that's something that she most definitely believes she isn't.
