I can really touch on that, that, like, reading Sean Wilson or Margaret Kovach's work on relationship, um, with your indigenous identity.

It really doesn't talk a lot about, like, if you're approaching your research as somebody who was building that, like, relationship, who's sort of anew to it, if you're somebody who, like, generationally has not been connected to your community other than, like, [sighs] like, uh, being aware of it or, like, knowing about, like, cultural activities and practices, but not, like, with- not enmeshed in your community, then, like, oh my God, there's this whole other layer of, like, the emotional, like, spiritual, like, just tr- trudging through, uh, your research as both an outsider insider who has...

Sort of y- you're expected to also have a bit of, um, I don't know, like, this spiritual, um, connection, or at least, like, this relational connection that you could lean on, um, while you're doing your research.
