Marcus Murphy

I like that.

They're not a-- He hasn't had a whole lot of competition, but I mean, I, I think we're, we're, we're getting close back to, to, uh, uh, Marcus Murphy at this point.

Not quite to Marcus's level, but that, that, that's the only guy I can think of that has been better than him so far this season.

So the kids, I was sitting around, "Love you guys." Like, Luther Burley was a really good kick returner, and I don't...

...

since Marcus Murphy.

I think he's outstanding.

I mean, Damarian Polk, you know, he, he already had one punt return that turned around the Troy game.

Number two, Mizzou romps 42 to 13.

Marcus Murphy with a hat trick.

He's gonna return this opening kickoff 96 yards for a touchdown to put Mizzou up for good in this game, and boy, could Marcus Murphy run.

Now, this wasn't it for him.

He had a touchdown hat trick.

He had an 82-yard punt return for a touchdown.

Tigers took a 20-nothing halftime lead, and they rolled over the Gators on their way to the SEC East title.

This was a huge win for Mizzou and a great day for Marcus Murphy.

He showed me that he can play in the open field.

It's exciting for us as Missouri fans because we're used to seeing some nice returners, you know, from – J-Mag to Marcus Murphy, all the way to Jarrell Jackson, now to this young man here, I think That adds to what we're used to seeing when you're talking about Missouri offense, defense as a special team and getting all three of those phases to playing on the right level.

They were the bright spot coming out of Kansas, which was the negative spot in Kansas, which two block field goals, you come back and again, Coach Rutland was going to do a hell of a job of getting the guys back in task.

on what they need to focus on when it comes to special teams.
