Right.

And I was, literally I've been DJ-ing at USM, this is year 16.

Um, and for years I w- I'd been DJ-ing for all of the departments and organizations.

I'm like, "I wanna DJ sports.

I want to DJ in The Rock." And I was like, "This will be the perfect story.

The grand- the grandchild or the grandmother." [laughs] You know what I'm saying? Like, I used to be a baby picking up, uh, pop- eating my popcorn, drinking my Coke, and then after the game is over, run around to help my grandmother pick up.

Like, that was the perfect story.

What'd you think of first meeting him?

Is what we've seen with your DJ service at Southern Miss events, is that something that you're seeing at colleges around the country, at football and basketball games?

Oh, yes.

There are several DJs that I've come in contact with, especially when I was at Mississippi State, the SEC DJs.

We had a close-knit friendship, and then also the Sunday Conference DJs.

I'm cool with Detroit DJs and South Alabama DJs.

I know UCF DJs, and I know Georgia Southern DJs.

Yeah, it's become a close-knit community.

How has music changed in that 17-year period, and where do you see music going in the next 17 years?
