And, you know, Bo Nailer, I don't see him necessarily as a starting catcher either.

I mean, I almost wonder, like Marco Dinges has been VH-ing much of this year.

I think he has maybe higher upside than either of those two guys, at least with the bat.

So they have three bites of the apple to maybe replace Contreras at some point.

It wasn't the shoulder, which I guess is good news, but still not great that the first time he started getting playing time again and having to make a lot of throws regularly, the arm popped up with some sort of issue.

Marco Dinges was barely able to catch after April of this season, so he really didn't get to show much improvement in that regard.

It was looking a little bit better early in the season, but now he's missed the vast majority of the season and hasn't been able to catch.

So then you start looking at Matthew Wood, who had a really good offensive season, but the throwing arm, some of the stuff behind the plate and in general on defenses didn't a work in progress to be nice about it.
