Marching band

We have had the playing of the National Anthem.

We have had the Roger Bacon High School Marching Band of Cincinnati entertaining in pregame ceremonies.

Marion Stallman sang the National Anthem, and so we'll be getting things underway here shortly.

Right now, here's one of your favorite meds.

Alright, big news from Milwaukee.

The University of Wisconsin Marching Band rocked the Brewers World Series Parade.

You know that had to be a crowd pleaser.

The parade went down in downtown Milwaukee and the energy was off the charts.

Those students must have been buzzing, playing in front of so many enthusiastic fans.

That kind of experience is huge for them, for sure.

So yeah, a memorable day for Brewers fans and the marching band alike.

A win for the team, and some great vibes for the city.

Do we get to know the theme of these helmets or is it going to be a

surprise? One of them is Citrus related and another one is Marching Band related.

Huh.

It's Syracuse and ECU.

You have to work with... you know, it takes a village.

You have to have, you know, input on, well, should we do this? Should we do that? Should we cancel? Like, you know, what are we going to do? I mean, this, when Derek went down in the second quarter, And the band's about ready to go down the sidelines.

It was just a minute or two away from the band to make their entrance out of the bleachers.

And so it was a very difficult time.

Let's get back into the episode.

uh should we do this guy rocks i have a guy yeah okay yeah so kyle this guy rocks is an opportunity for us to show each other uh maybe a guy or a girl that we've seen on the internet who rocks oh okay sweet and it uh and it's okay would you guys prefer i'll give you two options yeah would you prefer bouncy castle or a band drummer marching band drummer

Bouncy Castle or Marching Band? I

want a hybrid.

Is that crazy? Like all the

tubas are bouncing and shit? I just, you know, I feel like my instinct says Bouncy Castle, but I'm curious about Marching Band Drummer.

Okay, you're

going to like Marching Band Drummer.

Having you here in the greater Nashville-Brentwood area has been such a gift and a blessing, both a friend, relationship, and resource.

But I want to start with what maybe not everybody on this podcast will know about you, but nationally people do know about you, and that's your involvement with announcing for Marching Band.

Marching Band.

Like this is like, like I remember seeing you on a stream for national, you got students that are in competitive marching band.

Look it up.

It's real.

Uh, you were at Lucas oil, like commentate, like commentate, like ESPN game desk, college game day for like one, how did you get involved to what is that like? And three, give us, give us some more, like what's the T on like, like marching band commentary.

Like there's gotta be like protocol or like things you're looking for.

Shout out to the Music City Sound.

Marching Band.

We're about to talk about one of y'all's former students, Ms. Judith Jamison, dancer and choreographer.

Her father taught her how to play the piano and violin at a very early age.
