Okay, so episode seven, The Biggest Witch of Them All, unleashed the Cortez Devils.
Media MelanieHOST
2:09
Watching Evan Peters as James March playing this piano the entire time was just diabolical and unhinged.
Media MelanieHOST
2:16
I'm like, "Is he ever going to stop?" It almost got to be a little bit too much.
Media MelanieHOST
2:20
But watching these risen serial killers literally doing the devil's work, I mean, we got The Night Stalker, Jeffrey Dahmer, who we did see last week, and again, I think it's a missed opportunity not having Evan Peters play that role since he played it in Monster.
Media MelanieHOST
3:44
But I think one of my favorite moments was definitely Queenie and using her mirroring ability to have Dahmer start to eat himself.
Media MelanieHOST
3:52
The irony of that [bell rings] and really the entire sequence with these Cortez Devils, which culminated in Fiona snapping all of their necks in unison, and that was another crowning achievement of these episodes.
Media MelanieHOST
4:05
But it also felt quite satisfying having Fiona enlist the actual Cortez Devils to take out James March, who was basically in charge of them.

Before I get more into episode eight, though, I just wanted to pause a moment and say thank you to everybody who's been watching along with me.
MoHOST
51:52
So this episode actually starts off with, uh, some of the blast from the past.
MoHOST
51:57
Y'all, we've got your boy, um, James March.
MoHOST
52:04
He is from the Hotel era.
MoHOST
52:05
Now, I do remember watching Hotel, and I do remember that being one of the, uh, more favorable ones for me.

But anyhoo, so everybody leaves, right? And so next thing you know, Cordelia starts, uh, walking the halls, and I'm like, okay, did she tell her, "Hey, meet me at coordinate one point" [laughs] "Meet me at X marks the spot," right? I'm thinking that's what's finna happen, but Cordelia's just walking the hallways, right, when there's a knock at the door.
MoHOST
64:28
So without looking through the peephole, without moving the curtain to the side, she opens up the door using her powers, okay? She not right at the door, but she opens the door using her powers.
MoHOST
64:41
Lo and behold, it's James March.
MoHOST
64:46
And so I was like, "Oh, hell." So she was like, "Hey, uh, say, sir, I don't know if you have the wrong address or what, but you're not welcome here." And so I was like, wait a minute, I don't remember him being a vampire, so why you saying it like he can't cross over the threshold? So he walks in, and he's got one of those, um, scythes, scythes? The little gardening tool, right? It's a sharp knife, but it's like a curved hooky type of situation, okay? And so, um, you know, he talking cash money, and he basically saying, "Look, I don't like the way that y'all did what y'all did the last time we ran into each other, so I'm finna get ready to take your ass out." And so Cordelia was, you know, like, laughing at him like, "How dare you bring a knife to a witch fight?" Like, this is crazy to me.

And the, the thing that's hard for me to distinguish which episode I liked better, five or six, would be the difference between how great that pig head was, and I loved that.
Craig LakeHOST
41:55
I can get the appeal with Evan Peters, and I think he's a good actor, and so that, he, I usually like where he is.
Craig LakeHOST
42:04
I don't like how he plays every role, but I don't mind seeing him on the screen.

And then we saw the door when she opened it.

It was James March and not Fiona.
MitchHOST

And it made me ask the question again.
MitchHOST

Well, who was controlling that Ouija board? Was it really Fiona or was it somebody else? But long story short, we see Mr.
