Marcella Hazan

It widely popularized and sort of interpreted Indian cuisine for the Western world, if you want to frame it as that way, or the English-speaking world.

I believe – so, I mean, we've said that about Marcella Hazan in the past.

I do.

It was a hard decision, actually, because I do have several, but to narrow it down, I would have to say the classic Italian cookbook, The Art of Italian Cooking and The Art of Italian Eating by Marcella Hazan is one of my favorites.

And he gave me a cookbook, which was Marcella Hazan's Classic Italian Cookbook, and he said, "You're cooking something out of that, and we're all coming over for dinner in two weeks." And I did.

I cooked so many recipes from that book, and the first thing I ever cooked was a, um, a pot roast, a shoulder of lamb pot roast of her, her recipe on the stove top, and it's, it really just sparked my love of cooking, and I don't see it as a chore.

I see it as, as something really relaxing.

But having said that, I do think a great classic bean soup with homemade beans is something that I'm making at least a couple times a soup season.

There's this recipe you've probably heard of from Marcella Hazan.

It's her famous five ingredient, 15-minute white bean soup, and the original version is in Marcella Hazan's Classic Italian Cooking cookbook, that seminal tome.
