I think there was talk at one stage Marc Marquez might try doing it with Moto2 MotoGP, but I think regulations and timings and everything, it just didn't really work.

Guys, I think one of the big, uh, talking points today was certainly, because people have been asked about it, riders, um, peers, um, contemporaries of Marc Marquez have been quizzed about, um, his Instagram post.

And he was asked about it today during the official press conference, saying that the photograph of him showing the distortion between his two upper limbs was a strategic, uh, move.

Dave, uh, what's kind of your thoughts? Because like you s- hinted at earlier, it's prompted a lot of discussion about what these, uh, human beings do to themselves in the pursuit of MotoGP glory.

Not, [laughs] not that one.

Not that one, no. I'm not sure that would be...

When it comes to Marc Marquez's health, I'm not sure that that's the, a particular doctor that I would go to for, um, for expert advice.

But, um, um, yeah, it, it, it looks like, you know, some of the muscles which are missing are, are also attached to the coracoid process, which is the little bit of bone that he broke, um, uh, in the crash in, in Indonesia, and it's possible that's, you know, partially why, why it's atrophied.

So, on to MotoGP.

And the biggest shocker in MotoGP so far this year, Marc Marquez won at Aragon.

That's going to end everyone down.

World's going to end.

Yeah, so the championship is getting fucking real close.

So Jorge Martins is still winning, but Marc Marquez is only 19 points behind him.

Yeah, right.

And then Benzacchi is only five points behind Marquez.

as well.

Who do you like in terms of like the riders in the past and even some of the current day riders? Do you look at like Marc Marquez, Joe Almeida? Who do you – well, as you know, that's a cycling rider, so Joe Almeida.

What's his – Cuadraro, sorry, like Cuadraro.

Do you look at Cuadraro and some of the current riders like that or do you take inspiration from the riders of the past?

He'll be perfectly serviceable out there.

He's not gonna go out there and be the next Marc Marquez for Ducati, but he's gonna go out there and be a decent rider that'll do more than just fill up a grid spot, and I think that's, that's a big thing for him.

And then whenever Franco Morbidelli comes across to World Superbikes, that's where it gets really interesting for me, Gordo, because nobody knows what Franco's really capable of.

He's the guy that finished second in the MotoGP World Championship.

It's true.

And Marc Marquez on an 8.50, given where his career is at at the moment, which we'll talk about in a minute as well as part of the racing.

Yeah, there's lots of very fascinating

subplots next year.

And I mean, he is something else.

I mean, he's breathtakingly fast.

He is sort of at this level of Moto3, kind of like Marc Marquez went on a 125.
