All right, y'all, this Monday time for the State of Black America, and this morning we have the current president of the National Urban League, Marc Morial.

Hey, good morning, Mr. Marc.

We happy to have you, and I know there's a lot going on in Black America.

[upbeat music] This is Marc Morial, and thank you so much, Rickey, for having me.

For this week's State of Black America, Black women who are running for office are in the spotlight, and these women are gonna make a huge difference.

I put the State of Black America spotlight this week on, number one, Juliana Stratton, the current lieutenant governor of Illinois.

Um, and but at the same time, the Urban League under Marc Morial's new agenda, he really was stressing how important entrepreneurship needs to be part of career success, especially in the African American community.
