Marc Broussard

And I bring, you know, 10 to 10 of my extremely talented singer-songwriter buddies.

It could be, you know, it's Mark Broussard, or it's David Ryan Harris from Jo- John Mayer's band, or it's, uh, you know, it's Eric Paslay or James Otto, or, you know, it's all these incredible musicians.

Maggie, we've been trying to work Maggie's schedule into it, but she's so damn busy.

Or sorry, she's so busy.

This is one way I can give something back.

Yesterday, we released Sonic Boom, featuring Trombone Shorty, and Soul is Invincible, featuring Mark Broussard, to help soundtrack this celebration.

The rest of the album enters more of my life.

My relationships, my sorrow, my delight, and the mystery of being alive.

We're going to make a spectacle and deliver Steve and these other heroes from that game and that team, deliver them the dome in style.

And then from there, around 5, 5, 5, 10, there's going to be the first ever live performances of music from Rebirth on Champion Square.

So partnering with Mark Broussard and his band.

Yeah.

And 20 years ago, he was also inside that building for a night neither he nor this city will ever forget.

Stan, welcome to the Mark Romig Show.

Hey, Mark.

Great to see you.

Great to be here.

Thanks for sharing your talent, your love for New Orleans, and we look forward to keeping up with you and letting you tell those great stories that you do.

All right.

Thanks for having me, Mark.

Thank you.

The song being referred to is called My God from Mark Broussard.

I originally found Mark Broussard through the Hurricane Katrina relief concert.

His song Home was just incredible.

Straight from the water children Straight from the water You don't know nothing about this Take me Take me home Take me home
