And you get some people that chose not to like Ensign Rowe, you know, in the second last episode, she joins the Maquis, which is, which is what the group of colonists that are fighting the Kardashians call themselves.

They're considered terrorists by the Federation.

So Ensign Rowe joins them, um, Chakotay and B'Elanna, like those characters from Voyager, they were part of the Maquis.

Commander Eddington from Deep Space Nine, he was a member of the Maquis.

But never once does Picard say, hey, you know, these people are just defending their homes.

We're going to stand by them and help them.

was going to say, I think the difference between Picard's decisions is in one, he had a lady friend.

Just so you know, the Valjean is a small raider-type craft operated by the Maquis.

Ah, yes, the Maquis.

Commander Chakotay and Voyager, he commanded that one in the pilot episode of Star Trek Voyager.

right now? Who knows what's going to happen 15 minutes from now after we're done with the emotional breakthrough? Yeah, basically, when we first started, I was like, well, I better not let Deep Space Nine get so far ahead of Voyager that the Maquis all die and then, you know what I mean, get to this episode.

That's pretty shitty to me.

I have basically no problem with what he does to that Maquis colony.

That seems to me to be perfectly reasonable.

Suddenly...

I think suddenly Sisko delivers a line of dialogue that doesn't belong to him because he didn't even know that this could be converted into whatever it was.

And then later on he says, yes, he's stolen enough to poison every Maquis colony in the Badlands.

You're going to go, wait, how do you know that? Or whatever, every Cardassian colony in the Badlands.

The USS Voyager, well, actually, it begins with, I think it's stationed at Deep Space Nine.

And they have an assignment to basically to go after, to pursue a group of people called the Maquis.

Now, some background of who the Maquis are.

The Maquis are a group of people, mixture of different species, humans included.

I just want to give some background information.

The Federation and the Cardassians were at one point at war with each other.

And a peace treaty was made.

And as a part of this peace treaty, the Federation would give some territories that were under their jurisdiction, give it to the Cardassians, and the Cardassians would do the same.

Question one.

Jadra was a member of the Maquis, but got out before the final purge of the Demilitarized Zone.

So she's not typically considered to be a friend of the Federation.

But she has worked with them on occasion, and it tends to be with former Maquis members who have either been pardoned or were not part of the Purge, or Maquis sympathizers who may not have done things that were illegal.

So she's selective about her Federation associations.

And she has worked with various elements of the Orion Syndicate as well.

She has not worked for them directly.

It's more like they have hired her.

We stickered their room with property protract one year.

Why is there no scene of, like, B'Elanna coming? Is it because she knows she was, like, complicit in this in some way? She's like, the heat's on, man.

Yep, he would betray the Federation and Sisko to his true allegiance, the Maquis.

Recurring nemesis- Yes ... uh, uh, recurring nemesis of Sisko in earlier seasons, driving Sisko to some questionable decisions.
