But then October 2nd is the real kickoff to Halloween Island.

I am going to be walking around downtown Manteo.

It's first Friday as well.

So I will be walking around downtown Manteo and just checking out all the spooky bars and inns and all the different things that's going to be going on around Halloween Island.

And maybe see if I can find Gino, talk to him a little bit.

So if you want something to do, looking for kind of a neat experience, Halloween Island really kicks off Friday, October 2nd, and I'm going to be making my way around and checking all the things out that night as well.

Go to the Outer Banks when you're at the beach, and you just wanna have a quiet day, you go back over to Manteo, and you kinda go and go to see the Elizabethan Gardens.

I've been there.

And I want to shout out right now to Atlantic Dentistry.

They got two locations, one in Kitty Hawk, one in Manteo.

I was struggling with a tooth and I was calling around, hey, can you help me? Hey, can you help me? Hey, can you help me? And when I talked to them, they were like, yes, we can help you.

We can see you this afternoon and then we can schedule you.

This is all happening Friday.

Hey, the Manteo Market's going on again this coming weekend.

Those flounders are really interesting because, you know, when you think historically, like summer flounder is a great example here.

Fishermen in Manteo, in North Carolina, in Waches, they figured out that, you know, they could go offshore right there and fish for summer flounder back in like the '70s.

Now, those same fishermen have to go all the way up to New Jersey, offshore of New Jersey, to catch those same fish.

So that center of abundance has just moved north.

This year, all proceeds go to the Outer Banks Relief Foundation.

And so, you know, once Halloween Island is done and we take a couple weeks to relax and then, you know, it's off and running again starting Thanksgiving weekend with you got 12 Bars of Christmas, you got Misfits Bar Crawl, you know, there's so much cool stuff going on.

Right.

You've got, you know, all the stuff going on here in Manteo, Christmas Island, and...

It's great.

So Friday, it's first Friday in downtown Manteo, but there's also the Movement and Pepper.

They're going to be jamming out over at Roanoke Island Festival Park starting at six o'clock.

That's definitely part of the Live from OBX big party series that they've been doing all year.
