With the handkerchief, not so much, I guess, because I have knowledge of who Mansoon is now.

I think he's a really great example of a classic dungeon monster being brought in as a character that you can interact with nicely.

There's a guy called Manshoon.

Have you heard of Manshoon? No.

Okay.

Manshoon is the founding creator, founding lord of the Zhentarim.

And he was infamous for making multiple clones of himself.

At one point, they all woke up at once, which started a thing called the Manchun Wars, as they fought amongst each other to become the one and only Manchun.

There were two factions of Zhents in the town, taken from Dragon Heist.

One that was operating under Manshoon, and the other with more economic interests.

His contact sent him to the sect that was controlled by Manshoon, trying to build bridges.

They were asked to employ the services of a noble whose family was cartographers.

This was to add a new player to the table, but a perfect reason to add a new character.

Secretly, I told this new player that his character was under the employ of the Manshoon faction, and he was to report back on how Edgy did on following instructions.

The group was hired to go to a swamp in the north and locate a castle where some adventurers had cleared out a cult.
