Manitou Incline

And so a lot of my early time here was actually working on those improvements and the restoration projects related to the, the flooding.

Um, there was work on High Drive, Gold Camp, The Incline, Red Rock Canyon.

Acro- across our system, there was quite a bit that we had to work through and improve.

Um, over time, you know, slowly took on more responsibilities doing additional planning work.

Incline.

Manitou Incline is awesome, right? And it's an hour south of where I'm sitting right now.

So I'm a huge fan of the incline.

And then for Aconcagua, it was 3000 feet of elevation with a 35 pound pack in an hour and a half or something like that is what they wanted us to be able to do.

They're famous for having this stairway that goes right up a mountain.

It's called the Manitou Incline.

And it's like thousands of stairs straight up a mountain.

And apparently you got to just be healthy to do it.

So my goal this year is to get the overall vertical world record, which is 3.65 million vert.

And the person who had done it last was, I think, in 2023, Greg Cummings on the Manitou Incline.

Wow.

And you're using multiple different routes.

It was a lot of fun.

I love reading the reviews on the Manitou Incline because people are like, "Wow, this was a lot of stairs." What did you think it was? It's, like, 2,700 steps or something.

It's, like, at, at altitude, straight up.
