Yeah, no, that was, uh, I really lucked out.

Um, you know, I was a senior at Manhattan college here in the Bronx and, um, you know, not sure what I wanted to do in civil engineering.

And I took a course, a graduate course while a senior and deep foundations.

And, um, uh, that really kind of lit a fuse in me that this is, this is kind of sparked my interest.

Um, and that was Dr. Horvath at Manhattan college, uh, taught that class.

And, um, you know, he kind of saw that I was excelling a bit in that.

So the people at Manhattan says, why don't you go down to Virginia Tech? They're a great program down there.

They're fundamentals, the fundamentals of engineering, the basic foundations of what we're studying.

So I'm Brian Sullivan.

I'm an engineer, civil engineer, undergrad student from Manhattan College.

Then I went on and got my master's in civil construction management.

went on to work in the engineering field on the construction side first, and then in engineering, and then eventually opened my own firm.

I followed more closely initially what he did with Con Edison.

So I went for mechanical engineering.

And once I got into studying mechanical engineering first semester of freshman year, I started to look around and some professors at Manhattan College who became great mentors for me, Dr. Salkin, Dr. Harani, kind of said, hey, why don't you go to some of the meetings for different organizations for the different disciplines in engineering to figure out what you really like.

And with civil engineering, for some reason, I just was really attracted to getting my hands dirty, being out in the fields, seeing things actually built, and really got into that and spoke to some alumni who do that for a living.

Wow, unbelievable.

He attended Manhattan College, which is now Manhattan University.

Hobbies are coin collecting, bow hunting, and fishing.

But it's more of a, you need to show the credits that you've taken towards a degree not requiring a full four-year bachelor's or a licensure.

Yeah.

I got a four-year civil engineering degree from Manhattan College.

And I can't be licensed in New Jersey because that's a four-year survey degree only.
